The Questions of Faith and Conscience

Murder in England

On February 12, 1993 a small boy who was to turn three in March was taken from a shopping mall in Liverpool by two 10 year old boys. Jamie Bulger walked away from his mother for only a second and Jon Venables took his hand and led him out of the mall with his friend Robert Thompson. They took Jamie on a walk for over 2 and a half miles, along the way stopping every now and again to torture the poor little boy who was crying constantly for his mommy. Finally they stopped at a railway track where they brutally kicked him, threw stones at him, rubbed paint in his eyes and pushed batteries up his anus. They then left his beaten small body on the tracks so a train could run him over to hide the mess they had created.  What these two boys did was so horrendous that Jamie's mother was forbidden to identify his body.

Murder/Rape In Georgia

On March 4 1986, Alexander Williams, who was just 17 years old and mentally ill raped and murdered 16-year-old Aleta Bunch, who was kidnapped from an Augusta mall where she had gone to buy her mother a birthday gift. He was sentenced to death, but after serving 16 years in prison, his sentence was commuted to life in prison.  Long before his crime, Alex was suffering severe mental illness and has been the victim of repeated acts of violence and abuse. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia. He also endured repeated and continuous physical abuse as a child. He was also punished with 'bed restriction' where he was forced to remain on his bed for days, even weeks receiving only one meal a day.  His sister in an attempt to persuade the court for a lighter sentence wrote “My mother made him strip naked, and she whipped him with extension cords or fan belts over and over again... Once she got mad at Alex and she called him downstairs. She had a hammer in one hand and a screwdriver in the other. She made [Alex] stand still and she pounded the screwdriver into his toes with the hammer." Their mother also frequently made Alex strip naked and locked him outside the house at night as punishment.

Sexual Assault in Tennessee

In May of 2008 Scobey Sowell Jr., 64 sexually assaulted an 11-year-old boy in a bathroom at Centennial Park. Sowell is schizophrenic and has longstanding mentally illness. Brain scans shows Sowell suffers from a type of brain atrophy, which is causing his brain to shrink.

There are stories of these 3 scenarios that are told around the world.  Each of the stories represents a horrific experience that the victims had to endure, in which two of them did not survive.  If you are a Christian, and God forbid any of these scenarios were to happen to one of our loved ones, what would be your stance?  Would you want revenge and if so why?  Would you forgive, and if so why?  If God granted you the decision to judge how you see fit, and will not allow any law of the land be applied to you, what would you do?  Or, if you are in a position to be the sole judge on the outcome, what would you do?

The Devil is Patient

Every now and again my wife and I would have disagreements.  We have 20+ years under our belts so of course they are expected.  I could not remember when we had a disagreement that lasted more than a day.  If it was, it was before she and I were saved.  Last weekend it appeared that something ignited in both of us, because almost every word either of us spoke ended in us arguing.  The only times we had peace if either of us were not at home, or if we were at home, we did not speak to each other.  I began to think if it was something she asked me to do, and I did not get to it.  I drew a blank so that wasn’t it.  Since our oldest son is in his high teens, we differ on what he should be held accountable for, but it is a minor difference, and we differed before, so that wasn’t it.  I let it go, and I said to myself, by the grace of God, it will pass.  What caused me to get in fight mode, meaning spiritual fight mode, was when we went to church, heard a very good message from our pastor, had a good ride home, but went at it on something I felt was so unimportant when we got home.  Yes, sometimes what I may feel is unimportant, may be important to her.  However this was different.  It caused me to pause and just look at my wife’s rage.  Then, I realized the cause of the strife.  There was a demonic force present and it caused discord between my wife and I.  I remember saying to myself, “Oh, you will be addressed!   You have no home here.”
All of this took place from Saturday to Tuesday.  On Tuesday, I would be going to my men’s fellowship.  I knew I was going to be surrounded by powerful men of God; including my former Pastor who I know if needed, will put some oil on me, and pray a covering over me.  I was excited.  Even on Tuesday, my wife and I had a small run in.  It is a 40 minute drive to the fellowship and the whole time, instead of praying, I was looking forward to be prayed over and to come back home and address that spirit.  About 30 minutes into the drive, my wife text me and apologized for whatever she had done.  She acknowledged that the devil is causing strife and she does not like it.  I chuckled to myself, and said, “Who would like it.”  I texted back and said we are good babe.  We already had victory….for now.  I acknowledged what it was, and now my wife confirmed it.  This particular force is not strong enough to do any more damage, because I know I am anointed enough to deal with it and because my wife acknowledged it as well, she has anointing power to deal with it also, so we are good; as stated…for now.  We went to church on Wednesday night, and there was a book that one of the teachers suggested we purchase.  Guess what the title was.  “Rules of Engagement” was the title of the book.  It speaks on dealing with spiritual warfare.
Family, if you believe in God, if you believe in His Son Jesus Christ, if you believe in the awesome power of the Holy Spirit, then you have to acknowledge that there is a devil.  This devil has a vendetta to try to get back at God.  He cannot get at God directly, so he goes after His children.  That would be us.  Consider these scriptures:
"If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it." (Gen 4:7)
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.  And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.  Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread." (Mt 4:3)
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”  (1Pe 5:8)
These scriptures speak to the very nature of the devil.  Sin lies at the door, the devil tempted Jesus after 40 days and nights, he walks about like a roaring lion.  The devil is patient.  He looks and wait for an opportune time to cause chaos.  He did not wait for 10 days prior to speaking with Jesus.  Nor did he wait for 20 or 30 days.  He waited for 40 days.  Jesus flesh began to talk to him, and that is when the devil came to have a word.  Have any of you seen a lion hunt?  The lion just do not pounce on the victim.  He watches.  He lay and waits.  He uses stealth precision before attacking its prey.  This is how the devil and his demonic hosts behave.  If we are not careful in remaining spiritual, not having a malicious heart, not allowing unfruitful words to pass our lips, we will become a victim of what I shared.  I had favor because my wife and I were stronger than this particular force.  Imagine having to contend with multiple ones.  That is why I am careful who I bring in my home.  You don’t know what may jump off of them and want to take residence.  Amen!
The bible states “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,” (2Co 10:4) Amen, children of God fight a different fight.  We fight an enemy we cannot see or touch.  We fight an enemy who is well patient.  We fight an enemy who desires to see us destroyed.  It is of the utmost importance that we stay prayed up.  We need to have a constant covering over us.  When we walk, the devil and his demonic forces are salivating at the mouth, if you would accept the metaphor.  Don’t give them a chance to devour you.  Don’t make way for them to persuade your thoughts.  They are real family.  There are many scriptures that speak to us on how to combat this enemy.  I will share one that is familiar and effective.  Click here.   Amen!

He Is Able (Archive)

I had men’s fellowship on Tuesday, and Pastor Chris Likely posed a question to the men present.  He asked us what is our fear, and what would we do to overcome it.  It sort of caught me off guard because as I began to grown in Christ, all of my fears and concerns subsided.  However, when you turn on the T.V, and see the chaos of the world, the chaos in our politics, even the chaos in our individual cities, it gave me pause.  I just looked up to the Lord and said three familiar words.  “Lord have mercy.”  But I am also reminded of the God I serve, and I began to feel that peace again.  Family, the world will bring chaos to you.  The world will bring trials and tribulation to you.  The world will bring turmoil to you.  All unfavorable things the world will bring them to you, but God will give you something absent of all these, and that is peace, because in His son Christ, you are victorious since he has overcame the world, so be of good cheer.
In looking at the world, and having front seat to the wickedness brought on by some of its inhabitants, it is almost inevitable that some of that wickedness, we too will taste.  The affect can bring about death to a loved one.  It could cause someone to lose their job.  It could result in someone losing their home.  It can cause a spouse to be unfaithful.  It could cause our children to be disrespectful. It could cause pain, pain, pain and more pain.  There are people who can relate to what I am saying and see no way out, but there is a God who desires nothing but the best for us.  The bible states “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (Jer 29:11)  God knows His purpose for our lives.  He knows why it is necessary for us to go through some trials and tribulation.  In your eyes it may seem impossible, but the God we serve is able and in Him all things are possible (Matt 19:26)
I know to those who have experienced trial, after trial, after trial, it is easier said than done.  However there must be a start, and in this start we have to learn to trust God, and what He says in his word.  Consider the following:
"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Num 23:19)
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” (Isa 55:11)
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Rom 8:37)
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” (Eph 3:20)
God is not a liar, nor is He capable of lying.  This means when He speaks there is no fallibility in His words; therefore we can trust and depend on them.  His word has power that when it is spoken it bestows results.  Its sole purpose is to exact action.  If we were to believe in His word, and apply them to our lives, no matter what we face, will not only cause us to overcome the specific trial, which by definition makes us a conqueror, but His word would exalt us higher than a conqueror.  Finally, all of this can be done if we tap into that power that is known as the Holy Spirit.  The capabilities was so beyond human comprehension, that the Apostle Paul had to compile 3 words to point to the over sufficient results we are to expect if we decrease our focus on our inability and increase our focus on God’s ability.
Family.  Friends.  I speak to you about God because of what I’ve experienced.  There was a time, I did not want to hear what anybody had to tell me about God.  However I saw how God transformed my wife right before my eyes, which caused me to investigate His Word.  In doing so, I have personally discovered a micro portion of God’s mysteries.  No matter what you are facing.  No matter how it appears to you right now.  I encourage you to give God a try.  He is more than able to remove the obstacle that causes you to stumble.  His desire is that you trust in Him and acknowledge Him, and we will direct you to where you need to go.  Amen!

Either One or the Other

It is said that you can tell a lot about a person by the content of their conversation.  I honestly and truly believe this.  Sometimes, if you are just quiet and let the person speak, it is like you have a window into their thoughts.  Doesn’t it amuse you, when a person will profess one way of thinking and in a blink of an eye profess a complete contrast view?  This is one of those messages, if the shoe fits, acknowledge that you are wearing it, and now take it off because it is not a good shoe.  Oh yes, I may be talking about one of you, or a few of you.   You could be either the ones I have converse with on FaceBook, or on my job, a family member, a member of my own home, email recipients, friends from around the way, members of my current church, members of my old church, former co-workers, former girlfriends, it could be anybody.  I will give you this much.  I know you and you know me, and it amazes me how people can say in one sentence of how much they love God, and want to do the will of God, and thank Jesus for saving them, and in the next sentence speak of things that are contrary of one who is in the light.  On top of that they even feel they are justified by it.  Listen; let’s leave Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for the sci-fi fans.  You are either one way or the other.
People have lost trust in the Church for this very same reason.  People honoring Jesus with their lips, but their hearts are far from him (Mark 7:6)  People, who call themselves Christians, who have claimed to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, who should have the same drawing power, are not walking in what they should.  Instead of drawing people with the love taught by Christ, they are repelling people away.  The bible is clear regarding matters of the heart and how Christians should behave.  The bible is not some renaissance painting where a bunch of people gather around with the ooooh’s and aaah’s, and hmmm’s trying to figure out the intent of the artist.  Jesus was a simple man, preaching a simple doctrine.  So what is the challenge?  The challenge is they do not want to suppress what they have in them and make way for the spirit to work it out.  How can you say I forgive someone but I do not forget what they did?  Really, so I wonder how long your “forgiveness” will last while you keep the memory burned in your mind.  How long will it take for your forgiving to turn into unforgiving if you chose to relive the offense?  Oh I forgot, you are a Christian so therefore it is justifiable.  I need to study that new doctrine.
Look what the bible says.  Are you ready for this?  Brace yourself now, it is deep!  It states If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.” (1Jn 1:6)  Isn’t that deep?  Man in order for you to truly understand that you have to break it down, like to its simplest form.  I mean you have to appreciate the significance of the bestowed word so eloquently expressed by the author.  LOL!!!!!  No family.  That is just my foolish display of hyperbole.  It is not deep at all.  It is simple.  You can’t say you are one thing, and do something else.  That means you are a liar, or that favorite word that seems to be on everybody’s lips when it pertains to the Church- a hypocrite.  If we say that we have fellowship with Him, meaning Jesus, we are saying we desire to have Him in our lives, that we have faith in Him, and who He is, and that we adhere to His teachings.  To do contrary is evident that you do not stand on what you say.  It is either one way or the other.  There is no straddling the fence.
Let’s look at another verse.  The bible states “Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.” (1Jn 3:10)  When someone does not practice righteousness, it means they are not habitually or repeatedly maintaining moral standards.  So someone who is a gossip is not someone who is righteous.  Someone who slanders is not someone who is righteous.  Someone who is jealous of another is not someone who is righteous.  Someone who does wickedness continually is not someone who is righteous.  Someone who is a backstabber is not someone who is righteous.  We are not talking about someone who was angry and in anger said something wicked or hurtful to get back at someone.  We are talking about people who behave in this manner, to where you feel as though they live to be that way.  These people are not of God, and have no compassion for the people who they may be hurting by their actions.  They do not do the will of God, but the will of their father the devil.
These verses help us differentiate between the character of a real Christian and the fake one.  Christians strive, meaning to make strenuous efforts to adhere to the teachings of Jesus.  The contrary, are those who give themselves the title of Christian because they believe in God; however demons believe in God and tremble.  The contrary of a Christian are the ones who go to church for the social gathering but have no clue to what the Pastor preached.  The contrary are the first ones who call Christians hypocrites but turn a blind eye to their own wickedness.  It is sad and it is disgusting, but I am here to say, with me, you are either one or the other.  Some of you may need to check your thoughts, speech and action; you may be surprised what you see.  Amen.

Church On T.V?

Hmmmm.  That is a good question.  I remember I was out witnessing and I attempted to share the Gospel with a young lady.  I asked my normal question, “where do you feel you are spiritually?” and she answered the way people who normally would answer who have tasted what the Lord have done for them.  I then asked do she attend church often, which she responded in the negative.  When I invited her to visit my church, she was not interested.  She began to say she is tired of the hypocrites who are in church and the no good pastors and so on and so on.  Then she said she did not need to go to the church because she can watch church on the television.  I then asked her what was her favorite sermon that was preached on the television.  Well, that ended our conversation.
Some people feel that it isn’t necessary to go to church to know God.  So, is going to church necessary?  The right answer is anyone who wants a deeper and personal relationship with God would make it their necessity to be there.  One can know about God by looking at nature.  One can know about God by studying the human anatomy.  One can know about God by staring at the starry sky at night.  But to have a true relationship with God, and to see evidence of His love for us by way of His son Jesus Christ, they would have to go to church and hear the word preached.  The bible states “let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.  And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”  Amen!
When we see commercials for Six Flags, we may get excited seeing the roller coasters and we may even imagine how it might feel to ride one, but we will not experience the thrill until we are physically on it.  When we see commercials advertising these beautiful cars, it may look good, and we may even imagine how it drives, but we will get a better idea when we are physically in the driver’s seat.  The same applies to watching people have church on T.V.  The worship and praise will not be the same.  There is no fellowship with other believers.  You may need to receive prayer; are you going to call into the network and have them say a prayer for you through the flat screen? No, you need the spiritual hands of the shepherd to be placed on your head as he utters words of power to reach heaven by petitioning on your behalf.  You need the congregation touching and agreeing that it will be done.  T.V. does not offer that.
When you are at home and not surrounded by the anointing power of God fearing people, the devil will find ways to disrupt you hearing of an undisturbed word.  It may come in the form of a phone call.  It may come in the form of noise outside your apartment door or window.  It may come as a knock on the door.  Oh yes, the enemy will find a way to disrupt you receiving any kind of deliverance.  When you are at home watching sermons, the preachers are going to put their best foot first.  You will only hear the feel good messages.  You may need to hear that message that cut through that mess you are engaging in.  You may need to hear a word that brings forth conviction, but at the same time lift you up.
Is going to church necessary?  Absolutely!  The world offers things that will only lead one to destruction.  However the church reminds us of the promises God has for His children.  The church teaches us good worshipping habits.  We are able to gauge ourselves with other believers and see where we are failing and receive the help to make us better.  I may be biased; however the church is the best thing that happened in my life.  It was because of the church and the people how I learned I was living in darkness and had to be brought into the light.  Oh thank you Jesus for your church.  Amen!

Set Your House In Order

I moved to Orlando, FL 5+ years ago, and been at my job about the same time.  I am in IT and we have different teams to do specific functions.  Some teams have a particular person or persons, whose name seem to be on everyone’s lips.  When I say everyone, I am talking about other technicians, and the people who we are hired to assist.  This can both be good or bad depending on the circumstance.  Take me for instance; I have users who call in, who desire no one to assist them but me.  By the grace of God, this is a good thing.  However there is one lady, who is also known, but she is known for her lack of technical expertise.  For the last 5 years, my colleagues and I had to go behind her work and fix some major issues.  One day, she was called into the office and told that she was about to be released from her job.  Sources said, she made attempts to explain how she is an asset, but to no avail she was let go.
Before I go further I want you to consider this scripture: “In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz , went to him and said to him, "Thus says the LORD: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.”   Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD, saying,  "Remember now, O LORD, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight." And Hezekiah wept bitterly.  And it happened, before Isaiah had gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,  "Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: "I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.  "And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David." (2Ki 20:1-6)
That woman at my job and Hezekiah had something in common.  Time was not on their side, nor is time on our side.  Time is not guaranteed to us.  There are things we need to make sure are in place, in case time runs out on us.  You see that woman, had 5 years to hone in on her craft to make herself a better technician.  She heard the things that were said about her.  She heard that she is weak in her troubleshooting skills.  When one hears such a talk, what do you do with that information?  She sat there and said oh well who cares.  She sat there and did not consider possibly changing how people view her. Apparently it did not bother her that she was not trusted with major issues. She assumed that things were going to be alright.  So when the time came that she was going to be let go, then and only then did she feel the affect of what it means to not have a job.   She attempted to save her job, but proof was brought before her showing otherwise.  The same behavior she displayed is the same behavior some of us display. Always waiting until the last minute to get things right!
How long will we falter between obeying God’s word and obeying our own word? When will we get our act together, and just do what God stipulates, rather doing what we feel we want to do? How long will we see examples of people changing their life for the better, while we figure we will change when we’re ready?  The scripture states "Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."  (Lu 12:40) This means there is a possibility after the conclusion of this message, the Lord may appear.  Have you forgotten the sovereignty of our Lord?  He operates on His time, and not ours, and just because King Hezekiah received a warning, does not mean you will!!!  Time up, game over.
We have been warned about squandering that precious thing known as time.  God warned us by saying “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”  (Eph 5:15) The days are surely evil.  The Lord can come at anytime.   Instead of keeping up with the Joneses, or sitting on their lazy behind and watching T.V, people need to be in this word trying to figure if they are meeting the spiritual requirements to make it into heaven.  Instead of clubbing and enjoying the night life, people need to learn how to strengthen their prayers so that God can consider keeping them as a significant part of His will.  Instead of trying to sleep with this girl, or thinking which man they want to sleep with them, people need to study this book so that when they stand before the Lord, He can say well done my good and faithful servant!!!
Do not sit and live as the people of this world does, indulging in foolish pleasures and desires, but live as those who have been taught to understand heavenly wisdom, and who have been made truly wise.  Let time be your chief commodity.  Gold, silver, house, car, etc. are no more of a concern.  Right now time is of the essence! You do not know when you will be told to set your house in order.  The story of Hezekiah was “he” was told his time was up and “he” was going to lose his life.  To us it could be a different type of loss.  It may not come in the form of death.  It can come in a form of divorce, financial storm, or it can come in the form of us losing our jobs.
We tend to take God’s mercy and grace for granted.  If this is not so, we would know that our time should be spent preparing.  We would know that preparations precede blessings.  This may have been a hard message, but it is shared out of love, and I pray that it is perceived in that way.  Regardless of your position, one thing is for sure, we all can go at anytime, and only you and God know if you were prepared.  Amen.

Before I began the blog, I used to send my lessons to a distribution list I had setup via outlook.  I have been asked to put those messages up on the blog as well.  I was running away from the responsibility since there are so many of them.  I was so preoccupied yesterday that I forgot to prepare today’s lesson.  So below is one of my archived lessons.  From time to time, I will slowly post them up until all has been posted.

“To Those Who Still Don’t Get It”

It amazes me how people can still express their ignorance,
going on with their lives as those every evil deed performed, will birth not a single consequence.
I mean, is it something they know that I don’t?
Is it possible, that they are living the truth, and I the lie, I will not ignore it, trust me I won’t.
I just wonder how they are able to live their life so boldly.
I sometimes question everything the Holy Spirit had shown and told me.
Then, I come to my senses, you know gather my thoughts.
This is warfare, a spiritual one, indeed I fought.
It just hurts me to see so many people so, so lost.
Not realizing what price they are paying; if only they knew the cost.
You see, I read that the penalty of sin is death.
So to see why I am still living, caused me to study hard, yes in depth.
I learned that there is a God who loves us so dearly.
He does not desire us to die, but to live, that’s what we call grace and indeed mercy.
Although we have sinned and truly deserve to die,
And this is how you pay God back, please tell me why?
Who told you that time is on your side?
Who told you that you will survive your roller coaster ride?
You know what I am talking about, the ups and the downs,
Believing and not believing, then believing again, quit it clown.
The bible states a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Whether it be a man or a woman, it still applies, I say.
Don’t you get it?  It is time to get it together.
Stop pretending like you got it together.
Living your life as though you have it together.
Hanging with the wrong people, just living wickedly together.
Let me tell you honey child, hell is waiting for all of you…..together.

Don’t you get it?  If you are bored with what I am saying, you are proving me correct.
Preaching of the cross is foolishness, to those who are perishing, look at the effect.
The effect is you are not trying to hear me; what I am saying does not interest you.
I pray that you reconsider, I am only looking out for your soul, boo.
Are you wondering if I am speaking to a specific someone?
Because I said boo, it may be to a woman?
Surely I would not say “boo” to a guy,
But if the shoe fit wear it, if it apply don’t let it fly.
Enough is enough, it is time to do things another way.
Doing the same things over and over again will not change the results because it is a new day.
Look at what doing it your way has brought you?
Hurt, pain, loss, deceit, treachery, you see where I am going don’t you?
This year is about over, and a new year will begin.
This time, you can be a victor, conqueror, yes finally you can win.
In order for this to happen, you have to begin to reduce that sin.
You have to get to a point where you sin less, and less.
Because only pigs enjoy smut, and playing in their mess.
Are you a pig?  Then do not act like it.
And you better not be saying I am just talking ………………………………………foolishness

Don’t you get it?  It is time to focus on the things that are right.
No more of the foolishness, come from out of the darkness and into the light.
Leave the family and friends, who can cause you to become irate.
The Lord wants you to be Holy, and in order to do so, you must separate.
Aren’t you tired of being two faced?
You know, acting like time for God you cannot afford,
Then when tragedy, trial, or circumstance hits, you’re the first to say oh Lord.
Many people are being blessed, once they accept it was time for them to change.
It can happen for you as well, so stop acting like this is strange.
Soooooooo, there is someone I love, and I would like for you to meet,
All that He asks is that you change the things that you eat.
Yes it is a metaphor, but nonetheless He wants you to change the things you eat.
Because there is a force out there who desires to sift you like wheat.
The little that you have, he wants to seek it, kill it, and destroy it,
Time is running out, God is calling, again, don’t you get it?
